The original Red alert can be found free of charge already at ra. Definitely a must play and an instabuy for me and if we can even get the ultimate collection but I hardly doubt it due to EA then its even better. I'd rather see games added that literally can't be acquired elsewhere.
Not legally, anyhow Generally GOG games are easy to install and work well on newer systems too, like windows I can just imagine GOG getting their hands on this and submitting it so it runs on windows 10 when Origin sells them and they won't all run out of the box. Just a refreshing dream.
Will it be possible to buy it from you? It wipes butt with Starcraft2. You can now get it on Steam, which is good since i refused to use Origin anymore some time ago, but GOG is still my most preferred platform.
Older games were pretty good aswell. Right, here's the problem. I'm trying to run CnC Generals part of the ultimate collection from Origin and it keeps telling me that I have to make sure I'm running Directx 8. Now I am running Windows 10 which includes Directx 12 and I have tried to run the game in every compatibility mode possible with and without the bit color , admin and the lower resolution options but still the Generals application keeps saying 'Please make sure you have Directx 8.
